I am using edit pro 17. my greenscreen shots work perfectly in review or playback, but the greenscreen/overlay is missing if I burn to dvd, I had good results when I first tried, but I seem to have lost the facility.....what am I doing wrong?

my setup is a Dell Inspiron Desktop 660 ,with NVIDIA Geforce GT620 graphics, running windows 8

I assume you are needing to remove a deliberately green background and substitute a "new" background for a shot?  Have you placed the track with the video whose background you want to remove below that of the background you want to use (on the timeline)?

If so, only one suggestion, I'm afraid: has the track with the "overlay" ( I assume you mean the "new" background) somehow become "muted"?  (Don't still have MEP 17 so can't check this, but at the beginning of the timeline is the "M" button pressed?)

The shotskook as they should when played in Magix,or when reviewed...but the greenscreen layer disappears when I burn to disc. ( the new backround shows, but the greenscreen overlay is missing)

The problem is that the multiple image (ie the Narrator against a greenscreen, and the required background), looks just great when reviewed in Magix. The narrator disappears from the picture when I try to put the movie on Disc, leaving the backround only.....
