Using Movie Edit Pro premium 2015 and with 16Gigs memory but when trying to play back my multi layered movie it's so slow and lags. any help would be appreciated.

Been having this problem with both my last version of Movie Edit Pro. When I have my multi layered movie ready for playback it is so slow and lags. Interestingly when I start a movie it plays fine until I save it and watch it the next day and then it plays to a crawl

What is your full computer specification, Windows version and the type of video you have on the timeline?

Windows 8.1

1 TB hard drive (half used)

16 Gigs memory

Actually after I downloaded the latest patch the whole program stopped loading. May have to re-install.

the file is m2ts

What do you suggest for file type when working with longer files especially..this one is 7 minutes
