using vocal tune

Is there a way to save work in a vocal tune window? Is the editting in vocal tune destructive to the object? to the .WAV file? Does it reset every time you open the vocal tune window? The manual leaves out all these critical questions.I'm working with Samplitude Music Studio 2022.

Hitting OK will save your work and it is not destructive as you can always reset a selection back to the original.
