Vasco De Gama add-on tool installation

TJ-Lazer wrote on 4/17/2020, 1:33 PM

I have recently purchased the latest version of Movie Edit Pro Premium (about my 7th version upgrade in 15 years). It comes with Vasco De Gama 11 3rd party tool, but there is no Serial # or other installation instructions in the Magix email I received upon my latest purchase. Can anyone point me to a reference for acquiring the Serial # so I can proceed with all the other updates/tool installations?

@TJ-Lazer

Hi TJ. Welcome to the Movie Edit Pro users' forum.

Where you click the download link in MEP, the activation code is shown underneath the link.

It takes a while to download, and the Vasco De Gamma Icon should show a percentage of the download in progress.

If VDG doesn't then open an activation box, load DDG from your windows list of apps.

You can see it comes under Motion studios. It's a huge plugin file size wise. I'm not overly sure how useful it is.

Good luck.

Ray.

Hello Ray,

Thanks for your rapid response to my question. The screen shots were very helpful to pinpoint where in the MEP interface this information is made available. Even though I've been working with Magix software for many years now, they keep packing more features in there! So I will keep exploring and see what I can find. Now that there is an internal feature for Animated Maps; I may check that out in comparison with what VDG offers.

Thanks again - Tim
