Previously had vegas16 and earlier versions running fine. Succumbed to V17 and now NONE of them run after having installed and registered 17 'successfully'. Each version simply 'disappears' after the 'low latency drivers' are loaded.... When this happened last week, I thought it may be due to a windows update - and so reverted back to the prior state .. 16 worked again, so went through the 17 install again.. completed,,, registered and disappearing again without error message after the asio low latency drivers are loaded. 'Contact Support' appears to have disappeared from the site - only circular routes back to this forum 8-(

V17 build 221 bought/installed last week. Running on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit 20H2 as 'Edit-PC'

HP xw8600 x5450 @ 3GHz 36GHz 'experience pack' 120.2212.551.0 SSD as C: [and another SSD for media] bitlocker off [not in use]

Prior to this 'upgrade' it was nice to have the full troublefree experience with 14 or 16, and HDV or sdi tape transfers without a problem having added 32GB of memory, removed all matrox/adobe premiere hardware/software and clean upgrades through oem > vista and then 10, and changed to SSD drives.

Should I abandon this installation and stay with 16 ....???

{I don't mind its reactivation being needed after the reversion- although I would have thought it was clearly the same macine and copy of windows ... but when having got 16 running again , to lose it after loading 17, and have nothing is most annoying 8-(
