I have a problem which I have tried to rectify and hoped someone could tell me what I should do

This relates to burning a DVD on Architect 7 after sending it over from Vegas Movie Studio 15. 

I have 7 duds after trying to burn a DVD. First couple I left at 24 burn rate and decided that must be too high.

Tonight I tried two times trying to burn it to a 16X DVD printable disc – 2 different brands – .  I then tried the option of a trial burn which completed (of course no burning happening) and was asked the question if I would like to ‘burn another’. I put in a disc and clicked the circle to indicate ‘for a DVD player’, and set at ‘8’ burn rate. It began the ‘burn’ but it never even reached 1% burning and after 10 mins I stopped the process.  I have tried to burn others at 4 & 8 &24 rate.

Again I tried the same procedure and did the trial – which went right through to successful, so I inserted a Verbatim 16X DVD-R (not printable –I like to have the picture printed on the DVD) and had the burn rate at 4. This time it went right through.  I have tried another twice and no luck.

I have burnt many DVD’s over the years on Architect and have not had a problem. I have burnt on this computer - Windows 10 - since purchasing it in 2020.
