Version 14 Missing VST Plug in Rack Missing inter alia

Just upgraded from 12.6 to 14. 14 is missing many useful items such as VST Plugin Rack; ability to preview any part of audio file with VST plug in chain; there is no chainer you can preview ; when opening multiple files there is no choice to join them into one file on opening; there is no cd track creator. terrible product. I am seeking refund

If those features were so important to you, why didn't you ascertain that SF14 had them before buying it?

Because based on what was sent to me it led me to believe they had those features and more. Without those features it is not an “upgrade” deleted by Moderator

Sorry did not realize it but your statement about profile is the problem I have. My old profile email address is not longer valid. I also saw that another email that I used in 2021 was chnaged by the ISP from .com to .net. So any emails to thatb address is no good. I tried the original one used in 2018 and it was acknowledged but I do not have that email anymore so I cannot see anything sent to that email address. Now the program says too many tries. So I have nicely requested a reset of the email to my current email or a correct email and I am being ignored. I do not like rude people and it seems that is what I am facing. I am only looking for kindness. If you can direct me please do.

Hi @Gr8fuldan, firstly, this is a 'users' forum. Other users and moderators on this and other Magix discussion groups do not have access to activation serials and other personal info. When activating Sound Forge, your old email address does not need to be active, it just needs to match the email address that was used when SF was initially activated. The same goes when logging into an old Magix or SCS account. If you can login there, you will be able to update your email address in your 'My Products' page. The login info for this forum can be different than the one you used to register Sound Forge.

Magix support is very slow right now due to a company shake up.
