Video/Audio Sync Issues

Hi,

I have been downloading some videos from YouTube using a free online downloader site, but when it downloads, the audio format is Opus. Opus is not compatible with either of my Blu-ray Players, and so I have been using VLC Player to convert the audio format to AAC (without touching the video stream)

When playing back the resulting files on my TV/Blu-ray Players, the audio appears to be running slightly out of sync with the video. Is there any way to fix this without having to do anything that will effect the video quality?

Short answer: (using your present method of downloading those videos), No, sorry!

Instead, I think you should consider a different method of downloading. I use 4k Video Downloader, it's not free but does allow the user to specify the file formats required and so avoid any question of conversions causing audio/video sync issues.

Returning to your original question: I assume the audio sampling rate of those videos you've previously downloaded is 48k, 16 bit?
