Video Converter 3

My computer doesn't seem to recognize the USB video converter that came with the Video Saver. I tried uninstalling and installing the driver again and again from the DVD and from Magix website and still wasn't recognized. No matter what I did, windows doesn't recognize the installed driver. When I open Magix Video Easy the driver doesn't show, I'm running windows 10.

Hi

it is likley that Windows 10 has installed 64 bit drivers for the device and you need 32 bit drivers for the program to recognise the converter.

However you need the correct driver they should be on the disc however, if the device was inserted at the wrong time, Windows will install drivers for it - are there any markings on the device?

Can you see the device in Device Manager - right click the Computer icon on your desktop and select Manage, in the left pane select Devices, in the right pane the converter will probably appear under Sound, video and Game controllers - it should not have a yellow icon against it.

I have exactly the same problem as Kersti. I have tried the suggestion above, but with no result. There is no yellow icon against the device, but Video Svaer can't recognize it.

Any suggestions?

Check in Windows settings, Privacy, Microphone and Camera that Desktop apps are set to be allowed to use them.

Hello, I also have the same problem as Kersti. There is a yellow icon on top of the “MAGIX Video converter 3” sound device. I have tried to install both x64 and x86 drivers that were included on the disc, tried to download the program from Magix download center to check if there has been an update (got a “videosaver_dlm.exe” that downloaded the program) and I have tried to install the program on two different computers and still have the same issue. I am thinking that the driver might be outdated on the newest version of windows 10, as it is probably from 2017. Weirdly enough the device is recognized on an old laptop that I installed the program on a year ago.

You could be correct in your assumption - the latest drivers are available here.
