Well, it seems that this user forum is still not even close to be representative of what Magix is currently selling now.

Let's see, we have Feedback on Movie Studio 2023, VIDEO PRO X15 - Release 06/12/2023, and Feedback about VIDEO PRO X15 .

Really? I mean, really? We now have currently on sale, Video Deluxe 2026 and Video Pro X17, and nothing highlighting them in the forum for user feedback. In the Vegas Pro user forum, only the current version of Vegas Pro is listed. And this is done on day 1 of the product release. Not something that is 2 versions removed. For sure, this is no way to run a website.

Sorry, this is just plain sad.

In this same post I asked the Moderators, @sasiuk and @johnebaker to remove the old feedback posts due to the pending release of VPX17 and VDL2026 but for some reason this task was never completed. Once these old posts are moved to the general area, they should be replaced with Feedback posts for VPX17 and VDL2026. This should be a regular procedure done annually.

@Can-Dive yes, this has been a topic of conversation for quite some time now. And yet, here we are, new released software and the what is in this forum? Products that are 2 generations old. Strange how the Vegas user forum is always up to date on releases and here, 2 years later, it is not.

It should be done when a new product is released.

AAProds, johnebaker and  CubeAce posted in the feedback section important posts earlier. It would be productive if they did the same for the De Luxe 2026 version and also for the VPX17!

I suspect the reason why the VPX15 and MMS2023 Feedback Posts have not been moved out of the Important section is because @MAGIX_Redaktion made the posts. @MAGIX_Redaktion signature indicates that this is the official account of the Magix Info Team which is not part of Magix Support. This must be the reason why the Moderators have been reluctant to move these posts. Or the Moderators don't have the admin rights to move these posts.

But who is to say if anyone is even monitoring this account? Perhaps the person was let go during the last business rationalization. I messaged @MAGIX_Redaktion to remove these posts but have not received a response. I also sent Support an email to remove them.

Think if there were no Google Translate.

Of all places to put a foreign speaking user. Onto a forum based upon a language where the initial inhabitants of the language forced other cultures to learn English and out own inability or laziness to learn another persons tongue.

Still, on the plus side it is less messages for the staff to plough through.😂👍

@CubeAce thanks for the German link. I decided to log into the German forum to send a message to the OP; @Magix_Editorial to see if they would help update the English forum but I realised it's the same @MAGIX_Redaktion!

So in the German Feedback post I asked @MAGIX_Redaktion to create a Feedback Post for VPX17 and VDL2026 on the English Forum.

If we All ask on the German Forum, maybe it will encourage them to update the English Forum.

Try the following, select another language, eg Spanish, then deselect US and any other languages you have selected, refresh the web page. You should now end up in the appropriate languages forum.

If you have multiple languages selected you will see all posts from those languages.

I bow to your superior knowledge of how these forums work as that is not my forte, but then why so many enquiries here or are the other forums devoid of users? I only did a cursory search after discovering the German site was different without going through your setup routine. Are those forums really different or just filtered?

Thanks for the clarification. So essentially it is one website segregated by region/language. So I entered "fr" to access the French forum and looked at what they had in their Important Posts

@sasiuk appears to be the main Moderator and has updated the Important Posts with information regarding VDL2026 updates. I don't think @sasiuk works for Magix, just a volunteer, so again I'm left wondering why the English Forum Important Posts have not been updated with posts related to the current versions of the software?

It appears to be a setting within the website's forums.

Go to the blue gear wheel on the main page for video and open it.

Proceed to click on the following icons as I haven't yet determined how many are needed to be picked.

I don't think the bottom four need to be selected but then when you re-open the main video forum page you should see this.

And that view is opening on the US forum page.

In your image you can see that there are 3 sections/zones of interest per language, Posts, Tutorials and Media. If you only want to just posts select the appropriate languages in the Posts section.

That is correct, however if you scroll down you should be seeing topics in the languages you have selected. I think the forum page you see is determined from your account, ie a UK registered member will see US in the URL, a person from France will see FR and so on.

Note: this applies to the forum only, if you change the Country selection option on the Magix website, you will see that country's web pages.

I did notice that along with additional posts in the Important Posts section. Also answering some of the posts need the help of Google translate and additional signing in if trying to post to the translated page.

Not an ideal situation but possibly a work around for now.
