One of my complaints was how Magix did their websites. Maybe someone was listening. The Video Deluxe webpage is great, except for some of the videos in German. I'm sure that they could have used their own software to create videos in the language where you log in from. But it is still light years ahead of the VPX 17 webpage.
Static images everywhere. This certainly shows the editing and other capabilities of the software (sarcasm). The AI features are nice, but overall, I still wouldn't buy VPX 17 if I were a perspective buyer based on the lack of "video" on the website.
And the price... yeah, really close to Vegas Pro. Makes me wonder when VP23 is coming out and with what new features.
Overall, VD 2026 is showing a ton of potential. VPX17, unless you are editing with a camera whose format will not work in VD, that would be the only, and it is an extremely expensive, reason to go to VPX 17.
