Video Effects have no effect

HI, probably finger trouble on my part but I need help.  Have installed MEP 2020 Premium.  When I highlight the clip to adjust, I place the slider over it as well, select Video Effects but any changes make no difference.  It is fine in MEP 2016.  I am suspect that for some reason the monitor is not seeing the changes.  Can anyone help.

Hi

Click the Lightning symbol bottom right of the Preview monitor and check that the option Deactivate Effects is not ticked - if it it is click to turn it off.

If this is not the case then we need clarify what you mean by:

ie. what effect are you applying or trying to do?
