I updated movie editor pro today but now my videos are importing with the wrong dimensions. The x and y dimensions appear to have swapped sizes so the image appears distorted! Any ideas anyone? The footage is from a Samsung S8 phone. I tried to update the MPeg 4 codec but made no difference.

Is the footage in portrait mode?
If so, MEP2021 is supposed to recognize this and do something. What exactly, I haven't looked at.
I presume that you can use size/position to fix the inverted dimensions. Did you try?

I filmed in landscape so not sure why it's like that. I'm going to try to reinstall the 2020 version. Its annoyed the hell out of me. Been trying all sorts for hours! If it works I'll stay with 2020 until the 2021 is tried and tested!
