Video Object jumps to track below upon mouse click

Hello,

Ever since MEP (I think version 16) and this includes the current Video Pro X that I am demoing, often, when clicking on a video object in the time-line containing multiple objects (with video's audio track displayed and also a separate audio track below) that video object (and whatever is Grouped to it) will jump down one track the moment I click on it. This drives me crazy and I can't figure out how to prevent this from happening...  Any clues?

Thank you, jeremy

I am not sure I understand the jump down one track. Do you mean that the objects themselves move from one track to another when you click on them? If yes... I have not seen this behavior before.

I have seen where I bring a new item in, like a decoration effect, and it is added several tracks below the object it will effect, but that is only when I add in the decoration.

Is there a way you could screen capture the issue you are having as a small video so I can see what these anomaly is, that might help me replicate it so I can figure out if there is something that can prevent it. As of right now, I tried loading in a video that contained audio (track 1 & 2) then added a second audio (track 3) then grouped all three together.

When I click on any of the grouped objects, it only selects them, nothing moves.

I used Movie Edit Pro MX Premium for that little test.

This is just a user-to-user area, but I will see if I can reproduce this as well and video capture it so I can send it into the Magix Support Department.

It is indeed strange, but I am not familiar with the movement, or I have not noticed before. I will let you know if I have issues reproducing this annomaly.

This has happened to me too. But I'm a newbie so it's probably pilot error :D
