Video on Youtube hangs at 10 seconds.

I have a 45 second video that hangs when playing on YouTube at the 10 second mark. I have saved it as mpg, mp4, and uploaded. I have edited the video, re published and uploaded about 6 times. No matter what format or edits it keeps haning at the same place on Youtube. All the attempts play just fine on my PC before being uploaded to YouTube.

I am stumped. Help appreciated. Below are links to the video on YouTube. There are 2 links. Each is a different save, export and upload to YouTube with the same result.

Thanks,

eric

Hi.

Both videos are shown as "unavailable" so I cannot view them! However, it sounds rather as if some YT processing is going a little haywire or there is something at the 10 second point on your video that YT does not "like". Have you checked that your video meets YT's preferred standards? This page details those standards.

Also, if you are able to upload your video to a file sharing site like Dropbox or similar, but not this forum, and provide a link where others can download it to view and test it, it might be possible for a fellow-user to advise you on necessary changes.

Hi,

Did you export the video first to, say, mp4, play it back (not with MEP), and all is ok before uploading to YT? Or do you upload using the Share feature in MEP? If the latter, don't. Export first, check that all is ok, then upload in the normal manner by going to YT and clicking on the upload button. If all is ok after the export, then the problem is narrowed down to YT. If you upload using Share, the problem could be on either side.

I don't know the timing for sure but I realized that I did a MEP program update in the middle of this project. So "Maybe" there is a program issue with MAGIX. I just did the update for 2017 to 2018 so I'll try again.

THANKS!

browj2,

I did the export, verified on my PC with a video player, then uploaded to the channel on YT. Every version I have exported runs fine on my PC.

Sorry for the links deleated. I just finished the updated from 16.xxx to 17.166. Exported the project, uploaded to YouTube and it appears to be working. Thanks for all the help and suggestions!
