Video pro X forcing me to play video from beginning when previewing

I am making a video right now and it is very difficult to double check the timing on some objects when the software forces me to replay the video from the beginning. this means I have to watch the entire video up until the point that I am trying to look at. anybody know how to fix this?

Hi,

Please do not post the same question twice. A moderator will lock your other post.

Try one of two things:

Click on the double-headed arrow at the bottom to view the entire project in the timeline. Try now. Then zoom back in to where you were working. If that doesn't work,
Save the project with a new name (append a revision number or something). Select all, copy, open a second Movie, paste. Delete the first movie.

Hi, and welcome to the user to user support forum for VPX.

In MEP \ File\ Program Settings\ Playback. Make sure that 'Spacebar stops at current playback position' is ticked.

Use the normal playback arrow > to play the movie and not the one with the brackets either side. [>] which will take you to the beginning of the range selected every time.
