Video won't render in 9:16

Hello,

i have looked for quite some time now through reddit and this forum, but i couldn't find a answer to my problem.

first of all i am using MAGIX Video deluxe 2025 Plus, have a RTX2070, Intel Core i7 4790, 24GB DDR4

My Problem is, even though i have all settings set to 9:16 Format, it wont render in 9:16, but in regular 1920x1080p.

When creating a new project i set it to "Social Media" and "9:16 Instagram Stories".

Here are my Movie Settings.

After rendering the Video through "Export to Phone" and the Android HD-Setting, i am always greeted with this video format:

and when trying to upload it to youtube Shorts, Youtube automatically sees it as a regular Video due to wrong format.

Can anyone help me and tell me where i went wrong?

@Jan-Vogl Hi, yep I get a 16:9 file exported even tho the project is 9:16.
There might be a solution but I never use those top right 'Export' options, I think they're broken or don't work properly.
Use the Export options in the top left File - drop-down, there you can check the export options are the same as your project.
