Hi

With the Effects tab selected in the Media Pool area, click on the clip in the arranger (timeline) and at the bottom of the effects Tab window you will see a mini timeline where effect keyframes are set. Every effect applied should be visible at the left end (you may need to drag the top of the Key frame window up to see them all) and each can be turned on and off by ticking and unticking the adjacent box.

shawnw,

A bit more...

The list suggested by Scenestealer won't show if you start with the 'Picture-in-picture' effects selected. The list of applied effects will appear in your case only if you have selected either 'Video effects' or 'View/Animation':

You can see what actual effects are being used by right clicking on your clip and going to 'Video effects' > 'Copy video effects...' [-] Key shortcut.

Regards,

Carl

Hi

The heading of each video clip or image on the time line will also tell you that certain effects are applied as shown below

Note:

Picture in Picture and other effect eg View/Animation, Size/Position show as X Pos, Y Pos, Height, Width.

Speed - does not show any information - you would have to select as Carl has indicated or go to the actual effect dialog and see if the speed setting is anything other than 1.0.

Thanks for all the great feedback. I'll check these options out and see what works best.

Hi

Good points from John and Carl but I suggested my method because you said "I'd love to be able to quickly see what effects have been applied so that I can undo specific ones as needed." and this would be the easiest way.

John, in your method you should see "TS" in the heading indicating there has been a speed change.
