Vita Cello out of tune

I'm using the Vita Cello plugin in Samplitude Music Studio 2023 and running into a problem where some notes are out of tune. It seems to happen at random - it's not every pitch, and it's not even every time I play a given pitch. While searching for a solution, I found a forum post from a couple years ago describing the same problem (https://community.samplitude.com/topic/57019-vita-cello-out-of-tune/), so I know it's not just me. Unfortunately I can't use the solution that was recommended there, as I need to use the pizzicato voicing and (as far as I can tell) the Vita synthesizer doesn't have an option for that.

So, any other ideas? Anyone know why this problem might even be there in the first place?

@psychojosh13 Could be that some samples themselves are slightly out of tune because they were recorded that way.

Usually, each pitch has multiple samples (maybe 3 or 4) which alternate between each key press to prevent a machine gun effect. If one of these samples is out of tune, this would explain why the problem doesn't appear every time.

Samplitude Music Studio should come with the vocal tune effect. Render your MIDI to a WAV file, add the vocal tune effect and pitch correct the problematic notes. I think you should be able to select all notes in the vocal tune effect and then simply adjust them automatically to the correct pitches.
