Voice over for Video with text to speech

joy-n wrote on 10/31/2019, 7:28 AM

I want to add a voice over for my video via text to speech but the issue is , Voice is too low and don't have emotions like actual person. Is it possible to add voice effects in audio to make it more human like emotions of happiness, sadness, fear, anger, surprise and disgust.

Welcome to the Magix forums.

Is it possible to add voice effects in audio to make it more human like emotions of happiness, sadness, fear, anger, surprise and disgust.

Short, simple answer: No, sorry. I know of no software that can alter any voice to make it more "human-like".

Also, you will see I have removed the link which you had added to your post since advertising is not permitted in these forums.

Hi,

He took less time to remake voice over usind a teleprompter for text reading following on the screen the action to synchronize voice with image. Ten years ago using Adobe Captivate we have to introduce code in the voice like a script to rise or decrease volume like intonation but this was so long and the result not appropriate that the best solution was to remake the voice and the teleprompter use to help.

@yvon-robert has hinted at the solution . . . .best solution was to remake the voice and the teleprompter use to help . . . . ie a real person reads a script that you record leaving a short space between sentences that is dubbed in real time to the video in Movie Edit Pro or recorded and then edited to fit the video.

Did you try looking at some of the applications on the internet? Search "Text to speech." I saw one that allows you to change the pronunciation of a word, but I didn't notice any that would allow you to change emotions.

If you just want to synthesize a voice with emotion to sound like it is being read via an artificial intelligence you could try using a software vocoder to alter human speech but if you are looking for something to actually read with emotion produced purely from a program then AI hasn't really got that far for public use yet. Only research establishments may have this facility in a limited fashion for experimentation. The problem with text is you can put any emotion you wish to attach to it but where is the context for software to work this out for itself?
