A bit surprise that for VPX 11 (got this from long time Humble Bundle promo - but haven't seriously experimenting editing with it (I'm still focusing on VEGAS Pro line) - as the latest version of this VPX line is 12) notifying me for update available.

Between the question of whether to update immediately or after application got closed after successful download. I choose later after app got closed.

On the current test session, I put MP4 and asked to activate the AVC codec and proceed, just like usual we also do in Vegas Pro, and successfully dropped Handbrake converted AV1 source and playback.

After VPX11 closed, I expected the same that VXP11 will proceed to be updated, but somehow I got nothing after a bit waiting. I retried rerun VPX and then got notified that VPX11 application is already running, so I canceled and monitoring in Task Manager, confirmed the VPX11 is still running - Force close it.

Update process failed - and I don't know where the temporary downloaded installer located in local storage (love to put safe the update installer in case needed for later requirement, but in my user document ( C:\Users\(username)\Documents\MAGIX Downloads ) didn't find any updates - where this update donwloaded?

Ok, rerun VPX11 again, kept timeline empty, and check update, redownload, done, close VPX11, and finally update process successful.

So for this case of VPX11 update stuck - is it caused by codec activation process or other else (maybe after putting the media file?) ?
