VST Plugins not working

I'm recently installed Video Pro X on my window 7 desktop and have gone to install so VST plugins but just get this message. what am i doing wrong? out of interest its doing the same thing on my Window 10 laptop. the standard Magix plugins seem to work fine its just 3rd party plugins. i'm putting the plugins in the "ImportPlugins" Folder, is this the correct folder? any help or advice will be welcome

Technically this is not the correct folder - for 3rd party plugins.

You can put them anywhere you like, however I find it is better to use a specific location, for example, I create a specific folder to put them in - in my case this is in C:\Program Files\VstPlugins - I then add this folder location in the Program settings, Folder tab, Add VST plug-in path in VPX.

Once installed if you follow what the message says and restart VPX, the plug-in(s) should appear?

Note depending on the VST plugins you installed they may not appear in the 'Plug-ins' list, eg some audio plug-ins will appear in the Mixer under the Fx button, + button option as shown in the example below
