Hi . I have just installed my new copy of Music maker 2013 premium. I have been trying it out but none of the vst instruments work.

When I try to drag the instrument onto the new project ,it complains with the following message . I have plenty of ram and good spec pc. Please can you tell me how to fix this. Thanks :-

resolved issue myself. Did system restore, rolled back pre install restore point. Then uninstalled Music maker mx which used to be on my system ,then reinstalled again. vst's now all load and work correctly. (Suspect conflict with previous version of magix).

However, spent an age finding and loading all the soundpools , but still unable to find soundpools from magix music 17 premium . Does any body know where to find them?

Thanks Alan, only thing is, now i have version 2013 working i do not want to install mm17 just to download the soundpools as it will most likely screw the settings up for 2013. is there a way to do this ( install 17's soundpools) without reinstalling 17?

thanks.

As you are gettting good advice fro m Esoteric, I won't bother with your major issue....however on soundpools I would suggest you seperate them out and make a few folders for them and stick them there.  I have also loaded all mine onto USBs.  The MM programs themselves are pretty stable as Magix updaates the problems as tthey arise.  At last cout I have 65 styles and I put 10 in a folder....and yes, I do test everyone to make sure they all work.
