Waves 15 Plugins not seen in Pro 11 Suite latest build

The last topic on this problem was not answered.

Waves v15 latest release does not load into the Acid plugins folder (no matter which u choose and scan)

Waves does load on startup, but is empty under the Plugins Vendor menu.

The only solution to this is that Magix needs to update the software with the fix or

release Acid Pro 12, which would allow Acid to use more CPU Cores and DRAM for general running and processing.

This is the only major problem I seem to have found with Acid over the last 8 years.

PROBLEM IS: Waves v15 not loading into Vendor menu in ACID Pro 11 Suite

@CharlieTweaks

Hi

. . . . The last topic on this problem was not answered . . . .

The solution below was given in this topic

This is a known issue with Waves 15 if you have updated from and older version, see here and the roll back procedure to Waves 14 is here .

Ok. In all seriousness. Rolling back to a previous version is not a solution. This is Acid's latest release and Waves VST is the ONLY problem.

The latest Waves update has a larger number of new plugins and Waves programming is not the problem. Other DAWS run them flawlessly, along with many other VSTs that are more modern than Waves v15.

I would be summise to say that Magix has stopped bothering with product Acid Pro.

Again, rolling back to an older version of Waves software is not a solution. It's the act of avoiding something.

@CharlieTweaks In this topic someone changed the VST scanner exe files inside the program folder with newer ones from Sound Forge to get Izotope Neutron running. Apparently that worked. So you can try to install the trial version of Sound Forge 18 and switch out the VST scanners.
