When I burn to DVD in Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus 17, it always renders Interlaced

Hi. Even if I set Advanced settings to Progressive and click OK, Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus 17 always renders the .VOB as Interlaced (I checked with the GSpot Video Codec Checker).

Is someone able to try this and, if it's not just me, provide a fix for it?

Many thanks,

LeRoi

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (32-bit compatible)

Program: Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus 17 Download Ver (CD was also installed)

Ver: 10.0.10.2 (UC2)

Render: AVCHD source files to DVD (.VOB)

It does work for me, I just burned a test DVD Image with "Progressive" setting in "Advanced" (I have the German version, some terms may be different, but from the screenshots you should get the idea):

Now I loaded the image with Daemon Tools as a virtual DVD drive and checked with MediaInfo, and it says "Progressive":

My version of VdL (MEP) 17 is 10.0.11.0 but I have the Premium edition, however there could also be an update for your edition, you should check for it (disable your antivirus and firewall if necessary) and also you could try with resetting the program to default after updating.
