When recording audio or midi, recording stops after 25 bars in MM MX

when I record, I get a "empty" track for 25 bars even when I continue playing.  When I stop I get a window athat says keep that track or delete or retake....now here is when it gets weird......I select keep that track an get a new track that shows my recorded music.  If its an audio track I get all 48 bars, even tho the "empty" track tahat runs when i am recording stops at bar 25....if its a midi recording , it stops at bar 25 even tho I continue playing.

I've even done a repair to see if it would clear up, but no help

if you are recording against a backing track, extend the backing track to say 80 bars. recording will go until the bars run out. or shrink the arrangment and extend the loop.

My name is Michael. I like a lot of styles of music. Played with different types of bands. But its the music in the soul that I value most. I'm not a great guitar player but I try to create a good sound that would take you on a short ride away. You can come back when you are ready. Thank you for listening. And call me Mike.

I have the exact same problem, and what mykonmax says is only true for live audio recording - not for midi. If you contact Magix support all they do is give you the big run around and send you ther system check app which is useless. If anyone out there in never-neverland has worked out a solution for this issue, please forward ASAP.
