When using some soundpool sounds in MM17, Sometime a track becomes unstable. Any idea how to fix this?

I've run into an issue while writing and using soundpool sounds. Seems the more tracks I add some become unstable. I don't know how else to better explain this but I'll give you what I know. If I play the song from the beginning, once it gets to the unstable track, it's almost like bumps in the road, but with sound. You know, like going over a bumch of speed bumps. The weird thing is, it only does this when I play from the beginning. If I move the curser to any part of the the song (except the beginning), the problem is not there. I tried to burn on a CD to see if the issue shows up; it does. Any idea what this might be and how to fix it?

I use MM17 prem with windows 7

"Seems the more tracks I add some become unstable."

That should be a clue. It's obvious that there's a point where you are exceeding your computers abilities.

What we need to know are the specs of your computer (CPU/speed, RAM memory size, etc.)

In the mean time, are all of your drivers (video, audio, etc.) up to date?

Are there any other programs open or running in the background?  If so, shut them down.

You may need to increase the audio playback buffer a notch in the Program Settings.

If the problem persists, completely disconnect your computer from the internet (disconnect the cable, wireless, etc.) and turn off your antivirus software.

Increasing the playback buffer seems to have done the trick. Thanks again Jeff. Took me a bit to figure out how to change that but all is well now.  I'm once again a happy camper!!
