Where is Prodad Erazer and Mercalli5?

preacherallen wrote on 6/11/2020, 8:30 AM

The page that I renewed on said Prodad Erazer and Mercalli 5 were included in upgrading but I have received no way of getting them. As you can see from the highlight on this upgrade offer I was to get "2 voucher codes" for them. Does any one know if Magix was lying to get business or they are giving these programs for upgrading?

@preacherallen

Check carefully the email you received which confirmed you have paid for the upgrade. ALL codes etc, are normally to be found there, including download links for any additional programs.

I have to say I am not certain that those two voucher codes were necessarily for those two additional programs.

@preacherallen

Voucher codes are usually for buying in-store items, such as transition templates, music loops etc to spice up your videos. Not all content in Video Pro X is free. They are also usually limited to products of same value as the voucher, and only 1 voucher may be used pr item purchased . (So you cannot use to voucher to buy a double priced product for free).

As @emmrecs states, check your email with the links and registration codes. It is usually from shop@magix.net but I also have some from us-shop@magix.net

If it is not in your inbox, check your spam and junk filter.

I have been checking my e-mail every day for last 5 days and have seen nothing (also check spam and junk several times a day). I sent in support request and no response to that either after 3 days. I have not received the confirmation email, but they did charge my credit card.

@preacherallen

You should have received an email immediately after purchase. Did you use the correct email address when you purchased?

Did you check your account with Magix to see if V12 has been properly registered?

Have you installed V12? If so, did you also install the additional content under Help, Install Extra Content then click on Download additional content button? If not, then do so. Give us a screen shot of the entire listing of stuff to be downloaded.

My version says it is Magix Video Pro X - Version 18.0.1.77 (UDP3) - Magix 12 is not listed on my account but I have had Magix Pro X for 9 years and have upgraded each time available and have had renewal service for last year or two. I was sent an email to upgrade and renew and I did. As it started updating it erased the old version and was in the process of installing when it crashed. I ended up without a copy of Magix on the computer of any version so I down loaded what I thought was the most recent version and then used old activation number and it worked. I then had to reinstall the various add ins I have added over the years. I now have it back up and running, but the email said I should be Prodad Erazer and Mercalli 5 with this upgrade and I have not seen them. I did not get an email immediately after purchase as I normally do and since they sent the advertisement to me at my email address they should have it, but I rechecked my profile and they have it correct. I have sent in a support request that the email be sent again, but have heard nothing from them in the last 4 days. Since I have had the program running I asked it under help to update the program and it says I have the most up to date copy. This is the screen shot you requested.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

@preacherallen

No, that is not the screen that I asked for. Read what I wrote. I said to click on the Download additional (extra) content button - look at your screen shot, it's at the top. Click on it! Then drag the bottom of the resulting window down to the bottom so that we can see the entire contents to be downloaded and post the screen shot.

Erazr is not part of the package. It was with the previous package before V12 came out and came with NB Titler Pro 6. Neither are part of the package that you purchased. What is offered when you pay is Mercalli V5 and Enhanzr, not Erazr. See the site.

Actually I disagree about Erazr coming with this because when I clicked on the picture it showed me how to erase things from videos and I thought that was really neat and decided to redo upgrade for another year so that I could get it. Was it on there wrongly? I can see that if they did not update their page because I was so fast in accepting, BUT at least they could answer my support request with the information. I have now been out over $150 that I could have used to buy Erazr outright from ProDad if I had known and not buy an upgrade service for a product I was totally happy with the way it was and the new features are of little use to me. I have attached another screen shot of what I think you are looking for - note no Mercalli 5, Erazr or Enhanzer on the list.

I assume that you have no excuse for the actions of Magix since you have said nothing in 4 days. I have now sent a second support request and they seem to care less that they have messed me over. I would be happy if they just resent the letter to me.

@preacherallen

See the other thread.

As I asked, did you receive an automated reply to your first request with a ticket number? If so, then raising a second one is redundant. You just reply to the first one that you received.
