Whenever I record, I always set the track option to record as Mono Mix. I went to set it up on a new project and it's no longer there. Would anyone know where I can find this option or a work around to get it to record how it use to?
The track option is something I alway change because I love how it automatically balance both sides and make it into one direct object. The newer version had it just but now it's gone. I can record in the older version but I love the controls in the newer version and switching them back and forth get tiring due to I have to do it for other items I love in the older version.
The new one should be like a one stop shop or am I mistaken?
Apparently it was removed because "no one used it". It seems like the only workaround is exporting the project as a Mono audio file? Or maybe make a right click on the panorama button and select the Mono preset, but I don't know if this will give you identical results.
@jeremy-smith As I understood it, the option returns if you open an old project which has this option selected because of compatibility. But it isn't available with new projects. So, as a workaround, try creating your project in the old version of Music Studio, set all tracks to Mono (Mix) and then open the project in the new version.
If you want the feature generally available again, register at the official Samplitude forum mentioned above and create a topic in the feature request section.
SP, I really appreciate that tip. I love the old app due to it having a lot of feature missing from the new version but I love the controls the new version implemented to speed up the process. Setting things up in the old and switching it to the newer version worked and got me where I needed to go. I still have to port it back for the mixing and mastering options of the old one but it's a work around until Magix replace the removal of the option in the new one.
On another note, I thought I was in the samplitude forum.
