Where is the additional audio content I purchased

papadewey wrote on 9/16/2017, 4:40 PM

As part of the purchase of Magix MEP pro Premium I was entitled to additional magix store content ( such as music and video effects) Once these are purchased and downloaded by the program where are they stored in the MEP program. For instance if I ordered music scores where will I now be able to access them inside the MEP application. The answer is probably simple but I have no idea the answer.

Thanks

Vincent

Hi

For Song collections and Sound Effects they will appear on the Audio tab beneath the top ticker

for Soundtrack Maker collections they will appear in the Soundtrack Maker dialog - Edit, Wizards, Soundtrack Maker.

Hi.

Can you post a screenshot of the error message you see? A "copyright error" doesn't really tell us anything about the cause.

Thanks

Jeff

Hi

@tonytoes

. . . . I am having a problem adding the same music to my project .Keep getting a copyright error . . . .

My first thoughts were you are trying to add a music track from iTunes in which case the 'Copyright error' is actually the Digital Rights Management (DRM) telling you you cannot use the music outside of iTunes.

If this is the case then if you are going to upload the video to the Internet or 'publicly broadcast' the video - you need permission from the Copyright holder to use the music.

We need more information.

. . . . ..with the latest update 9-2017 . . . .

Updates are not 'numbered' by the month and date - we need the full name of the program and current version number - see under Help, About . . . ?

What is the source of the music ie an existing audio file, a Magix Sound collection or from the Soundtrack Maker in MEP?
