I am not sure if I understand you correctly, but if you are wanting to capture a still photo from a video then:

1. Mark the desired point in the film (use the left and right arrow keys for
fine control), and then click "File"

2. Then click "Export Movie"

3. Then you can choose to export a single frame as a BMP or a JPEG file.

Snapshot Button is part of the DV capture dialog screen under recording.

Welcome to the Magix forums.

Did you notice that you had resurrected a thread that is over 10 years old? Please do not do this, since the original question refers to a now, very old, version of MEP, even if your solution is still applicable (which a quick investigation using the latest version of MEP, suggests it is not).

I will close this thread.
