I have a Desktop ASUS CM6870. I have installed the bundled MAGIX Music Maker 17.0.2.32. I can't open midi file. I get the promp: The file format of...*.mid cannot be read by MAGIX Music Maker.  With MP3 and WAV format there isn't problems. I can play midi file with other program but I want also edit it. Operating system is windows 7.  I would like to by a full version of MAGIX Music Maker but first I wont be shure that the program works with midi file.

Anybody can help me on this? Thanks

You can download a 30 day trial of MM2013 standard version and in it you will find a Midi Editor program that yu can use to do justa bout anything you want to your midi files.  Use the Help file menus to give you assistance in understanding what and how it all works...and, of corse, there are all kinds of interesting stuff you can do to the music you created.

Just don't try to do to much to sooon and alwys remember where yu are, where do you want to go, and how you want to get there.  My experience  is that people just start pushing buttons and opening files and not setting program parameters....then all of a sudden, Magix is broken !  No its not, you're just in over your head ...go S    L     O    W   L    Y
