Why do I have a serious error?

Every time I log onto my program. I get a crash log, even though I sent the message. But that's not the problem. Whenever I click edit I get a big box with a red flag on it. It says, A serious program error occured
Error in module "MPEG2DLL" (load address 0x09fd0000) to address 0x09ff60b8.
Exception 0xc0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION
Then it tells me to back up my file, but I have to file to back up since I couldn't do anything.

If you are constantly getting the same error, first try reinstalling the program and make sure you visit the Magix support website to see if you have any updates for the program.

If after reinstalling and updating anything that can be updated you still get the problem then it is likely that the corruption is within your system, which may require a reinstall of Windows or better yet a reformat.
