Why won't Magix Movie Player let me screen Capture, it will say path not found

Everytime I go to record my screen for a project, I will press the red button to begin recording and it will say "path not found", what am I doing wrong/ what can I do?

Presumably you mean Movie Edit Pro - if so which version and is the Basic, Plus or Premium option?

The message probably refers to the Recordings filepath found in the programs settings (Y key) on the Folders tab as shown below

Note yours will be different from mine - check that the folder specified in your settings exists and you can save files in it.
