Getting data off the sdhc card and onto your hard drive is a Windows / PC hardware issue but should be no problem with a modern USB card reader.

As to whether VPX can read the data format used by your camera, why don't you simply try using the free trial download? http://www.magix.com/us/video-pro-x/
