I can't be sure why MS Word freezes on you because you have not provided much in the way of system specs. It could be memory, it could be CPU or any number of reasons. However I do not experience that problem on my systems. So how to add lyrics to Music Maker. Have a look at this youtube video where I go through the only way I can think of to bring in printed lyrics into Music maker. Let me know what you think or if you have any other questions. Please excuse the audio quality, I put this together quickly, did not use a studio microphone and did not get rid of the "echo" from having two audio sources running at the same time,
George and John have already answered here but George asked me to follow up this question.
As there isn't technical data available therefore, it is difficult to guide in a right direction without asking questions.(Music Maker version? Windows OS: XP,Vista, 7 or 8?, Total Hard drive space? Processor 2 Ghz or? single or Duo core? MS Word 2003 genuine version?
George has explained how to add lyrics in his fine video with nice song Somewhere beyond the blue horizon. Therefore, the problem left is Word 2003 get freezes. There could be a various factors, Less hard disk space, slow Processor, corrupted software etc etc.
Please follow these steps.
Clean Internet Browser's History/Cookies. use Disk clean tool available in Windows. Clean Computer Ac Adapter connection points.
As we don't know if Word 2003 or Magix Music Maker which is creating problem, therefore, I suggest why not REPAIR Word 2003, start Word 2003 click on Help menu then click Detect and Repair. Click Start. (it is always better to re-start computer after some settings) While repairing do not forget click to select Restore my Start Menu Shortcuts check box to rebuild your Microsoft Office shortcuts
Start Music Maker or Word 2003 what ever you do and see if Word 2003 still get freezes.
If still problem exists, please provide further technical details.
