To the Magix community,

'Welcome to New Mexico ... stranger'. This new music-video is a song that could be called a spaghetti-western but is a glimpse of the place and culture that is my present home here in southwest north America. This is a place with tall mountains and much of it is a high desert terrain. Many old western stories are about early life in New Mexico. You will obviously see the influence of Ennio Morricone who had created many songs of this genre.

In this video I have used a Spaghetti Western theme song from Pixabay and accompanied it with an ensemble of 7 nylon and steel acoustical guitars. Then I embedded this this song into my own song also created using my own studio instruments.

I have some great western images that are a good part of the New Mexico western theme and I provided some of my own images.

I give my appreciation to the digital and sound artists that have contributed to the making of my 'A New Mexico Western Song'.

And towards the end of the song you can visit a small ranch with horses and chickens that are a part of my family.

I hope you enjoy this western theme song and I will offer you some beans and chili the New Mexico way musically.

Excelente Vídeo Song My Friend Mark. Very Good. I also liked that macaroni dish with calabrese sausage and bacon with ketchup on top. The landscapes are very beautiful, your video is very good, I loved it. This reminds me of some books I read a long time ago, around 1985, in a public library in my city about Mexican indigenous people. But anyway, your video is great. These ranches remind me of my family farms on Marajó Island Brasil Rio Amazonas; they recently sent videos in the family group chat. That dish of beans with chili peppers must be delicious. The intro sets the tone with wheezy keyboards and delightfully cheesy sounds, straight out of a spaghetti western—hinting at the fun to come. Rhythm is held in reserve while we soak up the stark nature pictures of New Mexico: arid landscapes, home to cowboys whose horses can go where the tin lizzies can’t.

Soon the music shifts into The Good, the Bad and the Ugly territory, with bold guitar lines and swinging accompaniment. The video’s horse imagery fits perfectly, adding charm to the musical ride. Alongside, the nice pics of the cuisine and abodes remind us how different life looks there compared to here—another layer of atmosphere.

Thanks for the satisfying musical depiction of New Mexico, pardner. And watch out for them rattlesnakes!
