A Storm in Gilbert

All original, composed with synth, beatbox, and rain sound effects. I also did the vocoded vocals.

This song was inspired by the rare days of rain in Gilbert Arizona. There's something special about those days, because it's so different compared to the dry heat we usually experience here in the desert. We really enjoy the rain.

The picture is from google. Right when I saw it, I knew it was perfect for this song.

Thanks for listening!

You are very good at expressing a certain atmosphere -

Its great how you did that here!

It seems to me that to work like that is one of your big talents...

I´ll take that with me and listen more often -

Yet something different, really well. Makes me think of an Indian dance, as in the film legends.
For side nearest, your music makes me think as well (especially in the 2nd part) to the German group "Tangerine Dream".
Very good track for me ....

Oh Travis...I share the feeling about the rain here in UAE... add to the title Storm in Gillbert / Dubai ... it is indeed great great fun to have rain here which is occasional however, over the past 3-4 years due to weather changes, one season we had so much if it that actually got sick of it since the city never prepared itself for such kind of drainage arrangement.

Nice track and excellent work with the vocoder...bring the vocals just a bit forward.

Hi,

Very good the ambient you are created thinking in a rain day. Arizona must be too hot.

A very pleasant moment.

I like the mix with the metal guitar in the end... a beautifull travel in the  Arizona desert

I know what you mean. The weather can be a real inspiration.

This is a great track. It has sonic depth.

You created some really nice melodies here... like the bass also...

Thunderstorms in Arizona... force of nature... not really showing of... merely a glimps of what's possible...

Great rain great clouds great atmosphere !!! ciao da sandro

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA
