Greetings to the Magix community,

I have created another ambient piece to share. Lots of ambient synth sounds and a small story I will tell you ...

The nighttime winds of the earth can be tranquil yet often cold and uncertain. Then comes the pre-dawn dim light of the coming day and with it the glow in the sky of the aurora, the pieces of the sun guided to the earth and to the far north and far south.

The aurora when it comes is a sign of the appearance of the sun in the dawn sky that brings warmth to the lands of the earth and with it the early morning winds of the warming air.

And there is a sense of certainty that comes with the dawn winds. And we may capture the energy of the sun indirectly as the air moves the turbines to gather the energy of the sun and the moving air of the winds.

Perhaps the sounds of the 'Auroral Winds' song can help us imagine this story.

I think it's very good that you give the sound time to develop and that the sounds also have time to merge into one another. A very nice journey, and the longer fade-out fits perfectly. 👍

Can't go wrong with Ambient. Unusually active. I enjoyed the shimmering in places and the changeovers between sections. Nice tinkling instrumentation which I take to be the synths. Captures the feeling well of early morning sunrise and late night aurora borealis. Yes, we can reflect that some of the energy converts to wind for the turbines.

Hello Philip,

Thanks for your detailed comments on my latest ambient piece. Yes I did my usual hybrid thing and used my Synclavier synth to add some unique effects over a couple of segments. With all of the solar activity and auroras making it even to here in New Mexico, I am sure in Canada this happens more often, I felt this would be a good theme. And of course the theme has a 'good outlook' sense to it as many of my works. I did get a decent ambient set of Magix loops for this piece that worked very well.
