Title: HELL YEAH (complete version)By HeavensSpear Kittrell

any input or help is appreciated. I made this one in 2005 and then revamped in 2007, It was well received by the local radio station, because of a huge bike rally that was due in town for the weekend.
http://forkeyth.magix.net/website/ The owner of a motorcycle shop approached me about using it for a possible commercial,I was really excited but declined because I didnt think that I could. It has since been redone with non virtual instruments.
thank you for listening with an open mind, please tell me what you think, or what I can do to improve. I post this version because the arrangement is how I made it.
Anything that I post has los frequency ambient bass that cannot be heard with cpu speakers. You have to listen to it with earbuds, headphones or stereo speakers.
Thanks guys

Two interesting pieces, and yes, gothic-metal isn`t wrong.
But I can`t vote, cause both songs are completely overdriven.

so now care about your mastering... overmodulation big time.

Thank you so much guys, Can you describe in more detail specifically where the problems are so that I know what to key in on in the future?
Explain "Overdriven" (I know what "I" mean when I feel something is overdriven),but not necessarily what you mean. Also..."Overmodulation"...what does that mean? (I realize that I must sound like an idiot to you guys, but I am an amateur after all and gone are the days of talent shows and night club stand ins and covers for me) Tell me what YOU would do..That would help me out greatly. This is exactly what I need, because I think that there is an emo/goth driven audience where I am from who just"listen" but dont "listen" if you know what I mean. virtual instruments are not as tedious to manipulate for me as they used to be...and I will never have the voice that I had 10-12 years ago..but Im having fun with this and it is an outlet for me from alot of things.
I appreciate any and all constructive critiques guys. Thanks for the votes too if you did, cause regardless I did work hard and play hard to create.
Thanks for the assistance and openmindedness..

I guess the two respectable members mean that the sound level goes beyond the acceptable decible levels where it starts to crack, generally a limiter and compressor should address normal issues like this!

You have a wonderful talent and I would like to go through more..GR8

This might help you a little... quite complicated... but maybe a start to dig further...

Yeah we're all here to learn and that's also the fun part for me... Well for I don't know what musik software u use it's hard to explain how to avoid overmodulation. So when mastering your track, setting up the volume for each instrument / track... you have to be aware of the master volume of your arrangement... somehow the "sum" of the single tracks sometimes add up to a volume where it's over that 0 db marger. Also while producing/mastering you should listen to your yet unfinished song on different systems and maybe listen to reference songs of your prefered genre...

The bass sounds good on my Mackies. Excellent tune! Did you do another version with real instruments or was it another band? I personally do not turn down any offers to be heard.
P.S. Very nice ride you have there.
