Categorising tracks into this or that genre doesn't seem important to me. If a track works, it works. I like this a lot, and as I've often stated, I'm not usually a great fan of what folk categorise as rapping. Super drum beat underpins this really well put together ensemble. Nice one, Tetley. Going in the favourites folder.

Hi Tetley:
I agree with Nick below. "Categorization" tends to paint people into musical corners. Personally, I enjoy mixing and matching different genres. After all, a C-Major in Hip Hop is 'still' the same C-Major in R&B, the last time I looked. <lol>
The only thing that matters (for me) is that the end result is pleasing to the listener's ear. And, this arrangement does.
interesting track ..... I find the choice of the hiphop song in order.
Unfortunately, I find the instrumental very thin ..... I miss a groovy bass and some sounds in bkgrnd.
The mixing of Old School and Hip Hop actually works. I agree with Sandro...a little bit more in the background would totally raise this song to another level. Not...too much because you don't want make it too busy with sound. But this has so much potential. Great job putting this piece together...You did a terrific job!!!
