Hello Music Lovers

I wrote this song for the grandson of a friend who lives in Michigan, in the US.  Noah was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a rare cancer, on his left scapula, he beat it but it has returned and is now in his lungs. There is a page on Facebook called "Cards and Love for Noah" and basically it is a request for people to send a card of hope for this young boy.  It is a very sad situation for the family and although there is not much anyone can do, I decided to write a song for him to let him know there are people who are thinking of him.

If anyone is interested in sending a card to Noah, I can give you the address or go on FaceBook to "Cards and Love for Noah" and the address and more information is on there.

Thanks for listening

Trish

Hello Trish,

So sorry to hear about Noah.  He is definitely in my prayers.

This is a beautiful song.  It has somewhat of a lullaby sound to it and of course...your gorgeous and over the top piano playing.  This piece brought a smile to my face and I'm sure it will do the same for Noah.

Well done, Trish.  5***** and this goes into my favs.

Thank you for sharing the lovely composition!

Brenda

Trish,

To have beaten something only to have it return in another form is certainly not fair. As evidenced here, it does happen and is understandably a hard situation for all to go through. My thoughts are with this young man and his family.

Your song is absolutely gorgeous, I would say a masterpiece. The lovely melody does have a lullaby tone to it as Brenda mentioned howefver, I detect hope and inspiration in there as well.

Beautifully executed, your composing and musical skills are  amply displayed in this sweet song.

Fav's for sure.

Stu

Hi Trishie:

Heartwarming and heart wrenching Trishie.  Oftentimes, the most profound emotions are expressed through music.  How old is this unfortunate lad?

My sincerest sentiments to his family.

Beatiful playing. I like the way the other instruments compliment the piano. There's a nice build-up at about 2:40, though I think there could have been an extended solo piano part before the flute and guitar came back in.

What's even better than your playing is the idea behind it. I and many others will be keeping him in thoughts and prayers. It occurred to me that you might invite this community to follow your lead and dedicate songs to him to be shared through the facebook page. Though we don't know him personally, I bet there would be a great response to that idea.

Immaculately written and performed, as usual, young Trish.  Super feel to the flow.  Warm, fuzzy feelings abound, partly due the the lovely harmony between the choice of instruments, and your writing of course.  .  Really sorry to hear about the lad who has inspired your penning this.
We just lost a long time family friend to a brain tumour, after she fought off breast cancer and a separate tumour over the last ten years.  Why is it always the really nice ones who seem to get taken?  Everything crossed for your young friend to buck that trend, big time and live to a ripe old age.  I'm not suggesting he turn nasty to achieve that.  All my best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery, with the thing never to return.

Thanks for sharing,
Nick

yours is a treatise on human relationships and how we should act toward those who are much more sforntunato us.
I was very sensitive even after I had got it, sometimes we do not want the words, in our case, just listen to the music that you are proposing.
no doubt, and I think that no one can have you're a real musician, and also prepared with ideas of high.
but what I appreciate most in the music and transmit their knowledge to others try feelings or moods.
Well you did you do that, then the quality is without doubt amazing
I do not know what to do for this boy, the only thing they taught me is to pray God !!!!!!!!!!!! you look down and it's fair, although sometimes it is not and I wonder why !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Trish,
I listened to this song with my state of mind much suffering, for what he's going through the person of your knowledge, so this time I will not comment what is music, but I want to again emphasize your sensitivity 'and your humanity '.
I wish that there is hope, and that  can achieve.

A very sad background and a wonderful piece of music!

I'm quite sure it will brings a smile to Noah. And I hope he gets the power to defeat this disease!

Hi Trish ,
that makes me very sad and thoughtful at the same time . This music sounds like an appeal to hope. I am unfortunately not represented on Facebook , but I make the stop in this way .
I hope that he will win this fight with his family and friends .

Much love Freddy
