Title: The Hourglass King
Artists: Roxall
Album: My Universe

The 8th track of my homemade album. created entirely using magix midi's and my vocals.

This driving metal track was written in my teens. I found the lyrics in an old folder a few years ago and now thanks to Magix, I have  been able to get that song out of the vault in my head, evolve it a bit and the results I am very happy with.

Please listen, enjoy and leave feedback.

Well I'm sinking, My heads buried in the sand.

I can't smell life no more and I can't hear a sound.

I'm dying, my life's not worth a thing.

Like sand through my hand.

Where's the hourglass king.

Mother nature's screwing father time.

So baby new year is born again.

And in their lust the four seasons are left behind.

So new year lies in his cradle dead.

Dead.........Dead........Dead......Dead....

So what's the TIME!!!!!........

Well I'm drowning, the quicksand man is my new found friend.

And I don't know what for.

But I was put on this hole to do something.

And I'm waiting, Where the hell has he been.

I have been stood up by the hourglass king.

Holy Moses forgot about the rainy days.

So he's left drowning in his sorrow.

And we sleep half our lives to rest our age away.

But that extra wrinkle you get's the reminder.....

THAT WE AIN'T GETTING YOUNGER......

Say Roxall:

The message and music are strong.  Classic Rock.

Terrific arrangement, man!

Yes, this is your typical heavy stuff!!! Enough varies, great singing, sound is well done. I also like the screaming TIME-Part and the following guitar solo. And the end is so heavy with great power drums *****

Man....once the rhythm guitars kick in....goose bumps!!!!

LOVE IT!!!!

A great, great song in the tradition of classical hardrock. Man, I would buy that album!

Terrific work, wonderful composition.

Full hand, although you only see my index and my little finger up in the air.

Great stuff, rock on! Fav of course!

I'm pretty sure I've heard this already before. Did you re-done the mix?
Powerful sounds and your guitar sound are always hard and well played.

That rocks!

Salut Roxall,

très bon morceau!, bien trash, un son bien lourd qui m'a fait penser un peu à du Testament!, le chant est impeccable, excellent  \m/
