My current obsession with the 'pop brass' in MMM2014 continues.  Again following a simple sequence of notes, this time repeated on the electric piano.  It's supposed to be a playful, if potentially trite, upbeat tune.  All churned out using the matrix editor and midi instruments.  Love this software.

Again plopped in the pop section for want of finding a more appropriate one.  No offense intended to the purists.  Thanks for listening, if you do.

I like this song a little less than the previous, but I appreciate your continued vary in composing music.

Hi Nick:

There's nothing like a song with "brass" in the mix to get the old juices flowing, eh?   As for the so-called, "purists", let them eat cake! ,<LOL>  The main thing, my friend, is that you are having a good time creating these interesting tunes, and that's good enough for me.

Many thanks for the feedback, guys.

Franco - Well I can't expect you to like everything I cobble together, but I always appreciate you taking the time to leave your thoughtful comments.

Griff - you are always such an absolute gent, lacing your comments with insight and encouragement.

Ziemlich schräg gebürstet das Teil ! Klingt absolut ungewöhnlich und das spricht mich auf eine sonderbare Art & Weise an !

Sauber arrangiert und abgemixt ! Die Brassabteilung macht richtig gute Arbeit !

Gruss Freddy

Hi Nick

I agree with my buddy Griff.  It's all about having a good time with music.  If it's not fun then what's the point? When I had to sit at the piano as a kid and practice with a timer set for 45 minutes?  Not fun at all!  And especially with the damn metronome ticking.  Not fun. Now when I make music on my own terms, it's fun but no metronomes for me!

This is a little quirky but I like it.  Very dissonant which I also like.
