Tour of My Soul

Album: All I Care About
All original, composed with synth. I played the intro on an ocarina (my new favorite instrument) and added some reverb. The rest of the song then expands on the intro melody. The entire composition process took no more than 4 hours, which is pretty fast considering that none of this is based on a pre-existing song idea (as the majority of my music is). It is mostly just spontaneous inspiration, which is why I decided to call it "Tour of My Soul". It was as if I reached into my soul and pulled out this song, haha!

Thank you very much for listening!

I learned it the hard way my young friend that rushed work always leaves a thirst and feel that "why I had to release it so early - I could have improved upon this & that" Perhaps this is exactly what is happening here - may be you would like to revisit and what's the need to let everyone know how much time you have spent on it  if you know what I mean...

Look forward to more of your fresh and breezy ideas, well done still I must say.

Thanks for the advice, but actually, I've listened to it many times and I can't really think of anything to improve. Sometimes the best ideas are the ones that just come to you when you least expect it, though I don't know yet if that is the case with this song.

I just thought it might be interesting to make a song that was spontaneous, so I didn't analyze it too much. I thought maybe people would like to know the process behind the composition of this song, as it was different than my usual process. But don't worry, this won't become a habit for me. I'll take more time from now on!

yes... that's what it sounds like... spontaneous inspiration... even though i look for the unusual here... this mix of styles i don't prefer. sometimes it seems that you just can't decide... mastering could be better also... sometimes some elements (classical) totally disappears behind the rock... and there's a volume rise at 2:39 and 3:27 which is not good...

maybe these are some of the things you might want to reconsider... but as you said, you think there is nothing to improve and 4 hrs is enough time...

to me... just okay

Ich habe das Gefühl das deine Musik etwas Irisches hat?
Klasse das du alles selber Komponierst,
aber dein Letzte Song fand ich ein Stück besser,

Irish? No, not really. The ocarina in the intro might sound slightly Irish, but the instrument is mostly popular in Italy I believe.

However, one of my favorite bands is Flogging Molly. Have you heard of them? They are an incredible Irish rock band.
