Yes...another great creation of yours. Really like the melodic movements and the piano integration.

You're creating great tracks with a special flavor and lovely twists no doubt...

Great.

Best regards, Norbert

I waited (for what felt like forever, though it truly isn't) to see a new track from Nickillus. Oh boy, you didn't dissappoint with this one either.

I love the upright bass, it's used to stimulate the beat, as opposed to another meddly in the background just rumbling away.

Even the drumkit, is it me, or have you used, a somewhat, club drumbeat to keep this all together? I am astonished it tied in so well.

I love piano, is it the chanei? (I think thats how its spelt)

The violin is beautifuly synthed, how it sways softly, then it picks up, very smoothly.

The final pluck too, what a great way to end it. I was expecting a fade off, but a simple finale tune, worked better than my idea would have.

The acoustic guitar is spot on too, every note hits right, even how it bridges together with the Piano, Bass, Violin... Wow! I love it.

I love your names for your music. I even read in one of your tracks, that you make them out of inspiration (the one I'm mentioning is Dare To Sleep).

I just wana say this ey..

I hear one song, then I NEED another, and another, and another... Before I know it, i'm up to your first track (An easy start) which is sampled yet still crazy good, beckoning for more.

I must say, by doing that, I did see how far you have come. And the phrase leaps and bounds, needs to be used here!

Thanks for all the nice, supportive comments, guys.  Really appreciated.

Wow, Martin
Either you are a very fast typist, or you have too much time in your hands.  I definitely think the latter if you trawled through my back catalogue of earache.  That and you must have a pronounced masochistic streak.  Thank you for the kind words about some of the things you may have stumbled across there.  You seem to be listening very closely based on some of the comments about this track.

There are some stellar talents here well worth listening to if you're looking for tracks to analyse.  The Griffster (formerly known here as Griff) would be a great place to start if you've not heard any of his marvels yet.  A wondrous jazz performer, sadly  hampered somewhat for the moment with a poorly hand - but still able to drop in dazzlingly arranged and performed tracks.  Plus he is very friendly and willing to talk, when he has time.  A great brain to pick.  Brenda, you've already found, but talents abound hereabouts and you will find many more with whom to start a conversation - and collaborations, I'm sure.

Cheers,
Nick

Nicely done once again. I'm hearing mostly the jazz influence, but there are some interesting choices that work surprisingly well. At times the strings sound more symphonic, and of course, there's the synthetic drums adding great contrast. Something about that sound reminds me of one of my favorite songs by Muse, called "Endlessly". Well, now that I listen to it, I could be wrong, but that still came to mind for whatever reason.

Keep it up.

Love the bass line, and the strings at :45 I could listen to for a lot longer.  But then we wouldn't get to hear all the other wonderful things you do with them - a touch of gypsy, a little Gershwin, and something purely your own.  Your music is interesting and draws me in right to the end.
