This was one of my first compositions in Magix Music Maker. Until now, it has been my favorite. The title, "Winter's Chill" was inspired from my own novel, "Magnum Opus Memento". The story revolves around two children who are both orphans living in France, in a place called the Mirror Mansion. In the manor, they find a room which has been locked up for years, and in it is a large blue mirror engraved with tiny silver bells, trees, reindeer, rabbits and other little things children would dream of. However, the world beyond the blue mirror is not as appealing as it seems.

We create so many dreams when we are little, yet few of us ever really accomplish them. No matter the obstacles in your path, and the sorrows that never seem to end, keep moving on and have faith in who you are. Snow can create so many feelings in a person. You may smile as it falls while you stare at the sky, but complain about how cold it's getting. But consider you ignore the cold and keep enjoying the snow, and you keep smiling...life will suddenly seem to be worth living another day.
