  @Eimantas-Miliauskas Do you use a VST effect or instrument in demo mode? This is a typical behavior for such plugins.

  [Solved] issue when entering the licence number for a free demo
  when entering the licence number - five groups of five digits - the form creates a minus "-" automatically after the first digit instead of a minus after the first five digits. then the licence number is detected as false. What a mess!

  @WhyB Sound Forge went from Magix to BorisFX at the beginning of April. Maybe check out the demo version of Sound Forge 2026. I assume that BorisFX will start to bugfix a lot of the old annoying bugs introduced over the last couple of versions.

  @NickHarvey It might be easier to install the demo version of Sound Forge Pro 18 and use the audio_plugin_scan_server exe files from that. It's newer than Acid 11 and it is made by the same developer team.
