Follow these instructions to use batch rendering in VEGAS Pro:

  1. Drag a clip onto a track in the timeline.
  2. Double-click the clip to create a loop region.
  3. Go to "Insert" > "Region" (or press R). Green markers will now appear in the marker bar at the start and end of the clip to mark out the new region.
  4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for each new clip you want to include in your batch rendering. Be sure to place each clip one after the other on the same track.
  5. When you are finished adding clips and creating regions, go to "Tool" > "Scripting" > "Batch Render".

The Batch Render window lets you configure the following settings:

  • Location and name to save the rendered file under
  • Format and template (e.g. Video for Windows/NTSC DV widescreen)
  • What to render (e.g. Render Regions)
