[Archived] Dropped frames

If you get a "dropped frames" error message during recording, there are several things you can do:

Update your drivers
Update the drivers for your entire system (motherboard, sound card and graphics card). 

Reinstall the program
Perform a fresh installation of the program.

  1. First, go to "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Programs and Features" and uninstall the program. 
  2. Then reinstall it.

Change the recording destination folder
Change where recorded videos are saved.

  1. To do this, go to "File" > "Capture Video" > "Video Capture Options" > "Preferences".
  2. Click "Disk Management" to enter a new destination folder.
