I've made about 10 different transitions from that tutorial and that's more than enough for me. I don't need to buy that 1700 effects and transitions as advertised so much.     @Vitaly Hi, There are 2 different ways of using masks in MEP. The first way, and what you are referring to is done by masking an effect on a single video or photo. See the tutorial indicated below, particularly from 8:30 onwards. You either create or load a mask using the dropdown arrow of an effect, Create effect mask or Load effects mask. This puts the effect onto the track below the video and
